First there was an idea…

I’ve had a lot of abstract ideas. My biggest issue is setting things in motion and sticking to them when it might not be as popular as you want it to be. This time I am committing. I have started and given up on things more than I care to admit but not any more. I want to sit down and get something done that I can be proud of. I want to make sure that I am putting out the best product that I can. So I decided to lean into reviews. I have always enjoyed telling people my opinions on things and hearing how others feel. This makes my aspiring youtube channel a no brainer. Why not put it out to the public? This market is over saturated. I thought to myself “what could my niche be?”. My whole life I have been a fast talker, it has been advantageous at times but mostly it has been a pox on my life. People tell me to slow down talking but why? Why should I adjust something so trivial to me when it is something that I do subconsciously. I am not going to TED talks, I am not a public speaker. My audience is the people that I choose to converse with. Most of the time they keep up just fine. Why not try to leverage this as a positive instead of letting it weigh me down as a negative? Now I am not about to start rapping, but a faster paced game review? Combine something I love and something I do? Let’s see where this goes. I am in the starting stages of all of this, still unsure of the style that I am going to go with. Scripted? Non-scripted? Chromakey and get my face out there? What games? There are many questions but I know this is something that I want to do. If you found this blog congrats. I have not told a soul that this site is up nor do I have any links out to any of my supporting channels. I wanted a forum to vent on, also a place to jot down more than 60 seconds of voice. Look forward to my play by play though this endeavor. I look forward to hearing from you all and welcome! -Cory
